Welcome to the Triple Ace Games Viking Dice Set Backerkit! The Viking-themed set contains a d4, a d6, a d8, a d10 (00-90) a d10 (0-9), a d12, and a d20. We are also offering a green d6 Wild Die with a unique symbol on the "6" face for Savage Worlds and a green d20 for use as an advantage dice with the D&D 5th Edition ruleset. If you need these dice for your game, they can be added to your pledge level. We have been working carefully with our manufacturer to design a set of dice that will be custom manufactured and cast in high quality resin to our specifications. The designs will be pre-painted with deep engraved surfaces.

Dear Backers
We've been informed by the factory that the replacement D20's are on their way to us! We should have them in a few days.
This means we can finally get all backer rewads packed and shipped.
We anticipate that all rewards will be sent by the end of August.

We have some good news!
We've now had confirmation that the problem blue D20's that we received will now be completely replaced by the factory!
Our contact in China arranged remanufacturing of the dice yesterday.
The factory will be letting us know the ETA of these replacements shortly and we will update you as soon as we know.

Dear Backers
Some great news and a little bit of bad news in this update.
The dice have arrived from china! HURRAH!
Here is a few photos of the dice in my living room!
We recieved the shipment late last week and have been going through all the boxes and bags checking the dice and have even begun packing some sets up.
The colours and designs came through well on the dice and we were getting really excited and feeling elated to be getting these dice out to our backers.
Then we opened the bag containing the blue D20's. Picked a few dice up and thought mmm these don't look as good as the others. Probably just a few bad dice in the batch - or that was what we thought.
We went through hundred's of the blue D20's picking out the bad ones and to be honest we were picking out 99% of them as misformed and badly inked. Here is a close up of some of the badly made D20's.
Our hearts sank when we realised that the entire batch of blue D20's was a rightoff. Compare these to the other yellow D20's and you can see how bad they are.
So the situation is that we simply cannot send out these blue D20's.
You as backers would be disappointed and we could not allow such poor quality dice out the door. It is very strange that just this one dice type and colour went so badly wrong - we don't even know why they left the factory.
We urgently contacted China late last week to find out what had happened and have sent some samples back to China to show how poor those dice are.
Unfortunately we can see that our only option at this point is to demand that the blue D20's be remade to the quality we need.
This is what we have requested and we are now waiting to get a response back from the factory - as you may imagine this will take a few days to get sorted out and we had hoped to get more information before posting this update.
We are so very close to completing this project but remaking the blue D20's is going to put a further delay on fulfilment - and currently we do not know how long this delay may take.
Again this issue has been caused by a situation beyond our control and we can only apologise for the delay.
We will as always keep you informed of the ongoing situation and when we get some more information we will post a new update.
We can progress some things as we sort this problem out as we have 100's of dice we can sort and get into sets so when we get the new blue D20's it should only be a few days of packing to send the dice out to all our backers.
