Welcome to the Triple Ace Games Viking Dice Set Backerkit!
The Viking-themed set contains a d4, a d6, a d8, a d10 (00-90) a d10 (0-9), a d12, and a d20. We are also offering a green d6 Wild Die with a unique symbol on the "6" face for Savage Worlds and a green d20 for use as an advantage dice with the D&D 5th Edition ruleset. If you need these dice for your game, they can be added to your pledge level.
We have been working carefully with our manufacturer to design a set of dice that will be custom manufactured and cast in high quality resin to our specifications.
The designs will be pre-painted with deep engraved surfaces.

Dear Backers
We have been informed that the last two moulds that needed remaking are complete so we are just waiting for some samples from those new moulds to be delivered to our office from China.
We're eager to approve these samples so we are keeping our fingers crossed that they are exactly how we want the dice to be!!!
We've been informed that the production time for all the dice will be 25 days from when we give the approval of the last two dice. It gives us a bit more of an idea of when the dice will be ready to deliver to the backers but we hope to tie this down even more once we get to the end of the production run.

Update On Samples and Production

Dear Backers
We've had some news from our Chinese manufacturers.
In a previous update we let you know that a couple of the d6's moulds were not quite correct. We had to therefore get some new moulds made and this, coupled with an imminent factory shutdown over Chinese New Year (end of Jan), means that manufacturing of the dice will be delayed beyond our estimated February delivery.
We don't anticipate a long delay and obviously we'll keep you updated as soon as we have more information.

Production Samples!

Dear Backers
We have just recieved our production samples of the dice!
We were very pleased to see the samples and here is a quick photo to show you how they turned out! Sorry its not studio quality photo but it was taken in a hurry!
Viking Dice Samples
Its hard to explain the feel of the dice in your hand but they are very chunky and roll very nicely. The engraving is deep and crisp!
The sample dice are only in the blue color at present.
We are very happy with the results - except we have spotted a couple of issues on a couple of the d6's. The manufacturer made some subtle changes to the design and we are not happy to proceed with this slight issue. We have already contacted the company and we have sent some new files to get the design as we want and overcome some manufacturing issues that the factory were having. So as with most manufacturing processes there are issues that have to be ironed out!
The good news is we can begin manucturing the majority of the dice while the new moulds for the two d6's are remade. So we hope that the problems we are fixing will not delay the delivery but we will let you know if this happens.
We are going to lock down the Backerkit on Friday so we can fix the quantities needed so if you have not completed your Backerkit survey please do so now! We will send reminders to those who need tro do this step!
Also if you wish to add additional dice to your order you can do so in backerkit!
This will be the last update for 2016 - we'll bring you an update early in January once we have the new d6 production samples and let you know how the manufacturing is going!

Waiting for production samples

Dear Backers!
We are currently in a holding pattern as we wait for the production samples to arrive. Our manufacturer required a little more time to complete the moulds.
As soon as we have the samples we can move onto the production phase.
We had planned to lock down the surveys last week but as we are waiting for the samples we decided to keep the surveys open a little longer.
Thanks for your patience and we hope to bring you more news soon!
